Our Curriculum

Common Core (ELA & Mathematics)

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) represent a coherent progression of learning expectations in English language arts and mathematics designed to prepare K–12 students for college and career success.

The standards define the knowledge and skills students should have in their K–12 education, emphasize learning goals, describe end-of-year expectations and focus on results, leaving room for teachers to determine how these learning goals should be achieved.”

Jolly Phonics

Jolly Phonics is a fun and child-centered approach to teaching literacy through dynamic phonics combined with meaningful actions for each of the forty-two letter sounds.

The multi-sensory method is very motivating for children.

Teachers can evaluate progress through a variety of assessment methods.”

The SIRAJ Teaching Method

We know that learning is not just limited to a classroom.  There’s a whole world out there for your child to explore.

This is done through a variety of teaching methods and processes.

We use a revolutionary five-point educational system (SIRAJ) to ensure that each child not only gains educational knowledge but also builds key critical thinking skills, confidence, makes friends, and, most of all, has fun!

Student Engagement

Student engagement is the extent to which students show attention, curiosity, optimism and interest in the material that they are being taught.  It may refer to students’ cognitive investment in their learning, including participating and committing to their studies. In general, students’ learning
improves when engagement levels are high.

Instrinsic Motivation

Intrinsic motivation encourages students to do something purely because it’s fun or enjoyable. It’s the difference, for example, between reading a book for amusement and reading a book in order to study for a test you feel obliged to do well on.
It is the opposite of extrinsic motivation, which is behavior completed to acquire an external reward.

Remote Classrooms

Remote classroom learning environments are where children can learn not only in classrooms but also outside the class. To replace traditional educational tools and activities, an online classroom or outdoor classroom is required for an accessible learning environment.

Academic Achievements

Academic achievement is the extent to which a child has achieved either short- or long-term educational goals. Achievement may be measured through students’ grade point average, whereas for institutions, achievement may be measured through graduation rates.

Joy

The joy of each child is also a very important part of learning, and is why we offer many kinds of learning activities.
